A native of Grand Rapids, Dr. Telman is a board certified surgeon in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University, he served 2 1/2 years in the Peace Corps in the West Indies. Upon his return, Dr. Telman earned his medical degree from Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine and completed an internship and general surgery residency training at Bronson Methodist Hospital and Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He completed his specialty training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Butterworth Hospital.
As a member of the teaching faculty of the Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center (GRMERC) and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine, Dr. Telman is actively involved in the education of residents and medical students. He is presently on active staff at all Spectrum Health Hospitals. Within his field, Dr. Telman has extensive experience with all aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Telman has been selected by his peers to be included in the list of the Best Doctors in America . He is on the staff of major Grand Rapids hospitals. Within his field, Dr. Telman has extensive experience with all aspects of breast, body, and facial cosmetic surgery, as well as in reconstructive surgery.
